Platinum Puppy
The Good as Gold Puppy Program is designed to set puppies and their families up for lifelong success by providing opportunities to develop essential life skills like calmness, confidence, and communication. We provide structured learning opportunities that promote positive reinforcement training that equip you and your puppy with the tools to handle new experiences, develop emotional stability, and build strong foundations for future learning.
Our puppy program strives to enhance the bond between you and your puppy, fostering trust, communication, and mutual understanding. Our puppy programs are also focused on helping prevent behavioral issues, while promoting emotional resilience and confidence in puppies, giving them the best possible start in life. We offer two opportunities for learning in our puppy program including our Platinum Puppy Class and our Platinum Puppy Day School.
Platinum Puppy Class
The Platinum Puppy Class is a six-week program for puppies between 10 and 18 weeks of age and is designed to help build a solid foundation of skills and foster a strong bond. With open enrollment, this class offers flexibility, allowing you to join at any time during the six-week cycle.
Throughout our six-week program, learning will focus on these foundational areas:
Building a Bond
Learning how to communicate effectively with your puppy, read puppy body language, address common puppy challenges like biting, vocalizing and over-excitement
Calm and Confident
Building skills that help puppies learn that being calm is rewarding, and how to grow their confidence in new and novel situations.
Happy at Home
Learning how to create a happy home environment for puppy-human living, management strategies for living with puppies, preventing conflict at home and developing manners.
Out and About
Building skills, manners and confidence when out and about, practicing leash skills, and staying connected when the world around is exciting.
Handled by Humans
Preparing puppies for body handling, grooming and fear-free trips to the vet.
Learning to Learn
Shaping, luring, positive reinforcement and conditioning are ways in which our puppies can learn, and we’ll practice when and where to use different strategies.

Platinum Puppy Day School
Help your puppy take their foundational Platinum Puppy skills to the next level! Our Platinum Puppy Day School offers a unique opportunity for your puppy to spend the day learning essential skills in a fun, structured environment, guided by expert trainers. With a focus on socialization, skills, and emotional development, this program is designed to give your puppy the best start in life.
During the day, your puppy will engage in a variety of activities, including:
Basic Skills Training
Practice foundational skills like sit, stay, and recall.
Socialization
Positive, supervised interactions with other puppies and staff, helping your puppy gain confidence in new environments.
Confidence Building
Exposure to different surfaces, sounds, and scenarios to build emotional resilience.
Problem-Solving and Enrichment Games
Fun, mentally stimulating activities to help puppy grow confidence and resilience.
At the end of each day, you'll receive a progress update and tips on how to continue reinforcing these new skills at home. This day school is perfect for busy pet parents who want their puppies to develop positive behaviors and social skills in a nurturing, professional setting. Before puppies start day school, they are required to attend a 1:1 private session with our trainer so we can get to know you and your puppy and plan for a successful day school experience for all!

- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Sundance Animal Hospital
- Limited to 3 puppies per day
- Puppies can register up to 28 weeks of age
- Private training session is a requirement for day school
