Calm Canines Control Unleashed is an empowering approach to working with our dogs that emphasizes agency, choice and communication. Developed by Leslie McDevitt, the CU training techniques emphasize teaches dogs how to remain calm and focused in the presence of distractions and triggers. One of the key strengths of this approach is its focus on building trust and communication between you and your dog. CU methods are particularly valuable for dogs that are over-reactive, anxious, or have difficulty in new environments. By encouraging dogs to make choices and rewarding calm behaviors, CU fosters a sense of confidence and emotional resilience in dogs, helping them navigate the world with greater ease.
